Job summary

Wildfire Defense Systems (WDS) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead AP, AR, Payroll, and revenue recognition, and oversee balance sheet reconciliation. You will manage Accounting staff, drive performance, and ensure compliance with WDS policies and controls.

The role reports to Corporate Controller and requires strong GAAP knowledge, staff leadership, and ERP expertise to deliver timely financial reporting and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
• Five years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of 2-5 Accounting Specialists and provide mentoring.
• Maintain full reconciliation of Balance Sheet on a monthly basis.
• Quality assurance and QC of accounting work products.
• Serve as subject matter expert for ERP system and manage projects, codes, classes, etc.
• Interface with internal clients to provide high-quality accounting support and training.
• Oversee tax responsibilities including reporting and payments.
