Fireworks seeks a Senior Revenue Accountant to scale end-to-end revenue accounting processes. The role partners with Sales, Billing, Legal, and Finance to ensure contracts are evaluated and revenue is recognized correctly as the company grows.

The ideal candidate has deep ASC 606 knowledge, experience with SaaS models, and the ability to handle complex terms, credits, and renewals while maintaining robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with revenue recognition.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and evaluating contracts/revenue arrangements.
• Experience with SaaS/cloud/business models and large datasets.

Responsabilités

• Support the monthly revenue close process with journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Perform ASC 606 contract reviews and document revenue recognition conclusions.
• Evaluate complex contract terms including usage-based pricing and credits.
• Reconcile revenue across revenue, AR, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables.
• Develop revenue workbooks, rollforwards, and audit trails from contracts to GL.
• Collaborate with Billing and Revenue Ops to align billing and revenue recognition.
