Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Accounting Senior Manager to lead a small team in monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring GAAP compliance for retail operations. This role collaborates with stores, store support centers, management, and external stakeholders to drive process improvements and data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 5 years in leadership, and a track record of implementing ERP enhancements and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting responsibility, including at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team in monthly close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, and analyses.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls for retail operations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting and ad hoc analyses for senior management.
• Identify process improvements and ERP/system enhancements for efficiency.
• Coordinate external audits and support financial reporting presentations.
• Provide guidance on accounting issues and policy development.
• Support governance with strong internal controls and policy maintenance.
