Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Analyst to ensure timely and accurate GAAP-based financial reporting. You will compile and analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, and reconcile reports to support monthly closes.

You will develop and monitor accounting policies, provide guidance to stores and departments, and assist auditors to ensure a smooth audit process while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Experience researching accounting topics and communicating findings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate monthly close procedures, including journal entries and GL reviews.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual accounting reports and ad hoc analyses for senior management.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain documentation for internal controls.
• Support auditors with requested information and documentation.
• Provide accounting guidance to stores and Store Support Center departments.
