Job summary

The Senior Analyst at Floor & Decor in Atlanta, GA will ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses. You will develop accounting policies, support stores and departments, and contribute to internal controls and SOX compliance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in accounting, 3+ years of progressive experience, CPA or pursuit of licensure, and familiarity with public accounting a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive responsibility.
• Licensed CPA or actively pursuing CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and completes monthly close procedures with journal entries and GL reviews.
• Performs general to complex accounting and financial analysis to support duties.
• Prepares monthly/quarterly analyses for senior management and ad hoc reports.
• Ensures information supports budget forecasts and reporting needs.
• Researches accounting issues and explains impact of new standards.
• Maintains documentation and assists external/internal auditors as needed.
