firstPRO, Inc. in Watertown, MA, seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead M&A accounting activities for a multi-billion-dollar life sciences company.

The role is primarily remote with mandatory monthly on-site visits to Watertown and additional days during quarter-end close. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, at least 7 years in a large international firm or multinational company, and expert knowledge of ASC 805, impairment accounting, goodwill, and long-lived

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a large, international public accounting firm and/or large multinational company.
• Expert knowledge in acquisition accounting under ASC 805, impairment of intangible assets, goodwill, and long-lived assets under ASC 350/360.
• Experience supporting accounting matters in multinational and public-company environments.
• Ability to partner with external auditors and support SEC disclosure/external reporting processes.

My client in Watertown, MA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support all M&A accounting activity. This is for a multi-billion-dollar life sciences company which is very active in M&A activity.

This role would be primarily remote, but would require getting to Watertown, MA 1x per month, and then 3-4 days during quarter end close.

Qualified applicants must have the following

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a large, international, public accounting firm and/or large multinational company required.
• Expert knowledge in: acquisition accounting under ASC 805, accounting for Impairments of Intangible Assets, Goodwill, and Long-Lived assets under ASC 350 and 360.
• Experience supporting accounting matters in multinational and public-company environments.
• Ability to partner with external auditors and support SEC disclosure / external reporting processes.

Compensation includes up to a $200K base salary + 20% bonus
