Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience within a large, global manufacturing organization is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, OneStream, Alteryx, Access/SQL, or similar financial technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting initiatives supporting strategic tax planning, M&A, and corporate finance initiatives across domestic and international entities.
• Manage and analyze intercompany allocations, invoices, reconciliations, funding, capital contributions, dividends, and other transactions.
• Support monthly Actuals and Forecast reporting used by senior leadership.
• Participate in global finance projects focused on process improvement, standardization, automation, and best practices.
• Support acquisitions and post-acquisition integration activities.
• Maintain a strong SOX-compliant control environment.
• Provide financial and business analysis to cross-functional teams.

Our client is a highly successful global public company seeking a Senior Accountant, to join its Corporate Finance organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and gain broad exposure to Tax, Treasury, M&A, Corporate Development, and global finance initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Operations & Reporting, you’ll play an important role in the company’s corporate intercompany accounting processes.
