Job summary

FinanceWithin is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager to lead a pod of accounting professionals delivering weekly and monthly financial reporting for multiple clients.

You will direct a team of Accounting Managers and bookkeepers, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery in a remote environment. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in full-cycle accounting, 2+ years leading a team, and strong expertise in QBO, Excel, NetSuite, and Xero, with experience in e-commerce and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Advanced level expertise in QBO and Excel.
• NetSuite and Xero experience a huge advantage.
• Experience with e-commerce clients is required.
• Experience reconciling Shopify, PayPal, bill.com, etc. required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and a firm grasp of accounting best practices.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and how to evaluate them.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time in a remote work environment Proactive and team-centric attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and all key accounting-related activities for your pod.
• Financial Package Review: Reviewing Management Reports with Key Metrics.
• Accounting Package Review: Ensuring proper reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and trend analysis.
