FinanceWithin, LLC. is seeking a Controller to lead a pod of Accounting Managers and bookkeepers serving multiple client accounts in a remote, national capacity.

The role hinges on strong communication, deep accounting expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive accuracy, timely reporting, and client value. The ideal candidate will automate processes, leverage AI tools, and build SOPs to improve efficiency across a multi-client ecommerce finance stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Experience leading a team in multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and key accounting activities for your pod.
• Review management reports with key metrics.
• Ensure proper reconciliations and perform trend analysis for balance sheet and P&L.
• Review inventory reconciliation, write-offs, and cost accuracy.
• Oversee AR/AP processing and aging reports.
• Oversee payroll processing and journal entries.
• Provide ad hoc reports and dashboards to clients.
• Educate clients and act as strategic advisor and escalation point.
• Lead training sessions and develop SOPs and training documents.
