Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead Global Finance Operations, Reporting and Team Leadership across domestic and international entities. You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.

This role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, staff supervision, process improvements, and collaboration with external auditors. The package includes a competitive salary range, full benefits, 401(k) match, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting requirements.
• Review and analyze balance sheet accounts and income statement variances.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate accounting activities across domestic and international operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Establish performance goals and conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support employee training and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks and corporate accounting policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and respond to audit requests.
• Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with tax, financial reporting, and regulatory obligations.
• Support accounting and reporting requirements for international entities.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Assist with currency translation and consolidation processes.
• Partner with external advisors and local accounting resources as needed.
• Serve as a key finance user for enterprise accounting and business systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and reporting processes.
• Support system upgrades, implementations, and finance technology initiatives.
• Develop and maintain accounting reports and data analysis tools.
• Assist Finance leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Provide accounting guidance and support to cross-functional business partners.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and management presentations.
