SARASOTA MANATEE AIRPORT AUTHORITY is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to oversee the general ledger and accounting methodologies that support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages.

Reporting to the Executive VP, CFO, you will direct the closing processes for accounts payable, ensure strong financial controls, and lead the accounting function including reporting and compliance with GASB/FASB standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with focus on the annual audit, general ledger, accounts payable.
• Minimum 3 years of government accounting experience, required.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience overseeing a team or major accounting processes, required.
• Experience implementing an ERP system.
• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the general ledger and accounting methodologies.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages.
• Direct monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities of accounts payable.
• Lead and supervise all accounting functions including accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
