Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced accounting leader to supervise staff, manage month-end close, and ensure GAAP and SOX compliance across show and company data. You will prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and coordinate with the Director of Accounting for reporting packages.

The role requires a strong background in internal controls, Oracle/Excel proficiency, and the ability to drive accurate financial statements for a high-volume live entertainment business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with prior supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Knowledge of internal controls and improving efficiency.
• Strong analytical and decisive decision making skills.
• Proficient in Word/Excel; Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train, and supervise on- and off-site accounting staff.
• Ensure timely processing of all show and company data for month-end close.
• Lead period-end closing processes and financial statement submission.
• Record accurate data for events and company activity.
• Ensure shows are booked within prescribed timelines.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and analyze reports.
• Review roll-forwards, variances, and key accounts.
• Review and approve reporting packages; liaise with Director of Accounting.
• Analyze reconciliations for bank and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor receivables, depreciation, and internal controls.
• Oversee audit processes and assist with forecasting/budgeting.
