Job summary

ŌURA seeks an experienced Accounting Manager, Fixed Assets & Capital Accounting to lead end-to-end capital asset accounting, software capitalization, and lease accounting (ASC 842). You will partner with Engineering, IT, Facilities, and Legal to ensure accurate financial reporting across balance sheets and cash flows.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Deep proficiency in US GAAP, specifically ASC 360, ASC 350‑40, and ASC 842.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA.
• Experience with fixed assets, CAPEX, lease accounting and software capitalization.

Responsibilities

• Capital Asset, Real Estate, & Lease Accounting execution for PP&E, LHIs, TI allowances, and amortization.
• End-to-end framework for internally developed software capitalization with cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage global lease accounting portfolio, contract classifications, discount rates, and ROU assets/liabilities.
• Own SOX internal controls across Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Capitalized Software; interface with external auditors.
