Candidate Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in the US. The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of our US entities, manage our US accounting service provider, and support key business activities. This role reports directly to the Senior Director, Finance, with a dotted-line to our parent company’s Finance department. Responsibilities include strategic and operational tasks such as planning, financial management, forecasting, reporting, process improvement, and support for M&A, due diligence, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ensure US accounting procedures are followed, and manage accounting/bookkeeping software.
• Manage all AP/AR flows; review invoices and Master Service Agreements for payment accuracy and proper bookkeeping.
• Liaise with US tax authorities, corporate filing offices, accounting firms, and the parent company to ensure proper communication and reporting.
• Resolve accounting and bookkeeping issues and assist with US Group matters at the Inc. level (e.g., funding, agreements).
• Administer company bank accounts and liaise with bank personnel and ParentCo’s Cash Management division.
• Support M&A transactions related to tax and invoicing; coordinate with stakeholders to resolve tax issues, review invoices, and obtain relevant information.

Budgeting & Controlling

• Assist the Sr. Director with budgeting and control, monitor cash expenditures, and forecast cash needs.
• Support annual OPEX and DEVEX budget reviews; perform capital and cash analyses and report to stakeholders.
• Calculate and draw down cash capital from HQ; monitor cash needs across the company.

Corporate Operations

• Ensure timely filing of corporate documents, including LLC formation and Good Standing Certificates.
• Create and maintain LLC documents; liaise with legal advisors and the parent company.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage contract renewals and vendor relationships.

Administrative Support

• Notarize and prepare official documents as needed.
• Support HR and events management tasks as required.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• At least 4+ years of experience in finance management or accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations.
• Experience managing third-party accounting and tax service providers; coordinating with auditors.
• Proven skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• M&A and due diligence experience a plus.
• Industry background in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Real Estate preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and MS Dynamics 365/Business Central is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
