Aspen Vacations in Aspen, CO, is seeking an Accounting Manager to own all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance for our luxury vacation rental portfolio. This senior role partners with the owner to drive strategic decisions and leverage AI to streamline workflows.

We expect strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and a proven ability to lead a team through month-end closes. In-office, full-time with benefits and growth opportunities to fit a high-end hospitality focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• 5+ years in accounting with month-end close and GAAP.
• Experience in property management, vacation rental, or hospitality preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and journal entries.
• Complete month-end close with GAAP-compliant statements and internal controls.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance-sheet accounts monthly.
• Ensure accurate billing and vendor charges with audit trails.
• Lead property accounting including owner statements and payouts.
• Manage payroll, tax filings, and compliance calendars.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial visibility and planning.
