We are seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting for one of our clients, remotely from United States.

In this role, you will lead a team overseeing the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606, and driving process improvements. Responsibilities include managing the month-end close, providing technical guidance on complex transactions, and supporting financial reporting. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience in public company readiness, including SOX compliance and audit support.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee technical accounting reviews for new contracts, including application of ASC 606 and other relevant guidance.
• Provide technical support on complex transactions such as debt/equity financing, stock compensation, and acquisitions.
• Manage internal controls and support SOX-readiness projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for global consolidations and international accounting operations.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate or public accounting, CPA preferred.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience managing complex accounting issues and preparing technical memos.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with global consolidations, ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite), and Google Suite preferred.
