Job summary

A private equity-backed organization in Shelton, CT is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead revenue accounting operations. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with executive leadership, overseeing monthly and quarterly revenue close while ensuring compliance with ASC 606. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of accounting experience and familiarity with NetSuite. This position offers a salary range of $125K–$160K, unlimited PTO, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to revenue recognition.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and improving accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and quarterly revenue close, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Serve as the internal ASC 606 subject matter expert.
• Review client contracts and statements of work to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Develop revenue reporting, KPIs, and dashboards for leadership.
• Manage revenue-related audit requests and internal controls.
• Track revenue performance related to commission and referral structures.
