Job summary

Empower Staffing, Inc seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the revenue close for on-chain assets, ensuring US GAAP compliance and accuracy. The role collaborates with FP&A, data teams, and external auditors to improve automation and data integrity across the revenue reporting pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in accounting within tech or financial services, strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 350-60, and CPA or public/private experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience in technology or financial services.
• In depth knowledge (ASC 606, ASC 350-60).
• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• Public/Private experience and CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close for on-chain assets under US GAAP and lead accounting team.
• Reconcile in-house digital assets ledger activity to the general ledger, partnering with financial operations and data teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Establish clear performance objectives, execute reviews, and cultivate talent to support organizational growth and sophisticated reporting requirements.
• Partner with FP&A on revenue reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting inputs, providing accounting-to-actuals commentary on a recurring basis.
• Liaise with external auditors on specific areas of responsibility, including preparation of audit schedules.
