Job summary

Resilience, a technology-focused biomanufacturing company, seeks an experienced accounting leader in Florida to drive payroll-related accounting, the monthly close, and internal controls. You will partner with auditors, the HR and Payroll teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

The role requires progressive accounting experience, supervisory capability, and strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
6+ years accounting experience with mix of public accounting and industry.
2+ years in supervisory or team-lead capacity.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop accounting team members.
Own and oversee payroll-related accounting activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
Lead the monthly close process and ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure GAAP and SOX compliance; design and operate internal controls.
Audit readiness and collaboration with auditors.
Drive system/process improvements for timely financial statements.
Resolve issues with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate inputs.
