Job summary

Resilience is a technology-focused biomanufacturing company seeking a Lead Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and reconciliations. You will lead a team of accountants and partner with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Payroll, HR, and external auditors, driving process improvements and leveraging automation to ensure accurate, audit-ready financials while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong GAAP and SOX knowledge with audit liaison.
• Payroll accounting expertise, ADP knowledge.
• Proven ability to streamline close processes and implement controls.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop accounting team; set priorities and provide feedback.
• Oversee payroll accounting activities; reconciliations and journal entries bi-weekly.
• Lead monthly close; review entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, and analyses.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; liaise with auditors.
• Document and audit-ready records; maintain ADP GLI controls.
• Partner with external reporting; ensure timely inputs.
• Drive system/process improvements for monthly close.
• Oversee non-payroll GL reconciliations; ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Resolve complex issues; escalate when needed.
• Lead ad hoc projects.
