Job summary

EVgo is seeking a Sr. Manager, Accounting to lead multiple accounting teams and own the full general ledger close cycle. You will partner with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely close, strong internal controls, and high-quality financial reporting.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting with at least 3 years managing managers, a CPA, and experience in a public company with Big 4 coordination. Knowledge of US GAAP and ERP implementations is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically, 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3+ years managing managers or multiple accounting teams.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Experience in a public company environment with direct Big 4 audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-team accounting, ensure close quality and timely reporting.
• Provide technical accounting oversight for journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee SOX documentation, testing, and audit readiness.
• Drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration with Controller and FP&A.
