EVgo is seeking a Director, Accounting to lead the general ledger organization across multiple teams and drive close operations, policy, and capability building.

The role defines accounting standards, oversees US GAAP and SOX, strengthens controls, and partners with the CAO to ensure rigor and disciplined execution in a growing public company.

Candidates should have 12+ years of experience and a proven record of scaling accounting teams in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license strongly preferred; MBA preferred not required.
• Extensive US GAAP knowledge with experience in public accounting or public company finance leadership.
• Proven ability to build and scale accounting organizations and define operating standards at pace.

Responsabilités

• Lead EVgo's general ledger accounting organization across multiple teams and managers.
• Define and sustain high-performance culture with emphasis on technical excellence, control rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Set strategic direction for GL close operations, benchmarks, and multi-year improvement roadmaps.
• Monitor standards environment, assess and implement new accounting standards affecting EVgo.
