Job summary

Dallas CPA Firm seeks a Senior Accounting Associate to lead engagements, manage teams of 1–5 staff, and serve as the primary contact with client leadership.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency with QuickBooks and ERP systems; occasional travel and in-office/remote work options.

Advancement potential and close collaboration with senior management in a rapidly growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; 2+ years client-facing.
• Proven ability to be the primary client contact with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• 5+ years QuickBooks experience (Desktop & Online); ERP experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff on accounting engagements with teams of up to 5.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure needs are met with timely, accurate financial solutions.
• Oversee and review staff work, ensuring proper application of accounting principles.
• Coordinate and execute engagements from start to finish, meeting deadlines.
• Provide hands-on support while guiding the team through complex tasks.
• Maintain strong internal communication across colleagues, managers and partners.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Occasional travel for in-person meetings or client engagements.
