Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper & Accounting Operations Specialist to oversee full-cycle accounting, multi-entity bookkeeping, fund accounting, investor accounting, financial reporting, and NetSuite administration in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in bookkeeping and accounting operations, strong NetSuite experience, and the ability to manage multiple entities and complex investor activity while ensuring compliance and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or accounting operations experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Experience in multi-entity accounting environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger activities.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Complete month-end close and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Track investor contributions, distributions, transfers, and fund activity.
• Maintain fund and investor accounting records.
• Assist with investor reporting and capital account tracking.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, banks, CPAs, and attorneys.
• Maintain accounting records across multiple entities and projects.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and funding schedules.
• Support lender, investor, and management reporting requirements.
• Support NetSuite administration, optimization, and reporting.
• Maintain chart of accounts and reporting structures.
• Recommend process improvements and accounting efficiencies.
• Maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation.
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures.
