• Lead and energize the team to deliver accurate, timely, and well‑controlled accounting and reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and audit processes.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Business Central ERP.
• Courteous, tactful, and diplomatic communication across all levels.
• Proven time management, critical thinking, and fast-paced adaptability.

• Ability to assess end‑to‑end processes, identify root causes and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets end-to-end.
• Ensure General Ledger accuracy and timely AR/AP activities.
• Ensure timely government filings including sales and use tax, annual reports, and licenses.
• Document and improve accounting procedures, controls, and job aids for consistency.
• Lead monthly and annual closes with clear ownership and timelines.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and insights for leaders.
• Manage a staff of six with strong accountability and knowledge transfer.
• Build cross-functional relationships with leaders and parent company for accounting insight.
• Lead process simplification using approved AI and digital tools.
