Job summary

New Chapter, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting to lead AR, AP, and Fixed Assets, oversee general ledger accuracy, and drive timely financial reporting for both New Chapter, Inc. and New Chapter Canada, Inc. This role requires strong GAAP knowledge and strong leadership skills.

You will build and optimize accounting procedures, mentor a six-person team, and collaborate with business leaders and the parent company to enable informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and audit processes.
• Experience leading accounting teams and driving process improvements.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close and financial reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end leadership for AR, AP, and Fixed Assets, including reconciliations and period-end reporting.
• Ensure GL accuracy and on-time AR/AP activities.
• Lead monthly and annual closes with clear ownership and timelines.
• Manage a staff of six and develop talent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and parent company contacts.
