Job summary

Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business seeks an Accounting Specialist to support the Research & Financial Services team in Stillwater.

You will provide essential financial and administrative support, process purchase requests and vouchers, assist with reconciliations, and help with travel approvals and onboarding of staff.

This role offers variety, strong customer service, and opportunities to gain broad experience in university accounting and administration.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with 2 years accounting/Bookkeeping experience; post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
• Spclt Acctg Sr requires 3 years accounting/Bookkeeping experience; post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and administrative support across the Spears School of Business.
• Process purchase requests, vouchers, and other business transactions; assist with reconciliations and QuickBooks entry.
• Review travel requests and vouchers for accuracy and compliance; support university travel policies and procedures.
