ChildSavers in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Accounting and Finance Coordinator to oversee daily financial operations, including AP/AR, month‑end close, and budget support. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and fiscal responsibility in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of experience, with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably nonprofit.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP applied in nonprofit settings.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily financial operations across the organization.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist in month-end closures and budget preparation.
• Support the Director of Finance and participate in financial reporting for committees.
• Support annual audit preparations and monitor budgets and variances.
