Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support clients across accounting and finance functions. The role involves diverse responsibilities from managing month-end close to assisting with SEC reporting and implementing new GAAP pronouncements.

Candidates should have at least five years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP. CPA is preferred; travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; focus in Accounting preferred.
• Five (5) or more years related experience, required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or SAP, required.
• Professional services industry experience, preferred.
• Public Accounting experience, preferred.
• MS Excel at advanced level, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions in various capacities including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients.
• Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prepares miscellaneous accounting reports.
• Oversees all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Assists clients with SEC Reporting.
• Resolves complex accounting issues, and assist clients with implementation of new accounting pronouncements including ASC606 and ASC842.
