Dessert Holdings is seeking an Accounting Director/Assistant Controller to join our headquarters team in St. Paul, MN. You will oversee month-end close, financial statement preparation, audit management, and internal controls across multiple entities and currencies, partnering with executives and external auditors to strengthen governance.

This role requires CPA, 10+ years of accounting/audit experience, deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with an active CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities.
• Lead technical accounting positions, policies, and memoranda.
• Manage financial reporting, consolidation, and public company disclosures.
• Oversee audits, regulatory filings, and external tax considerations.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
• Mentor and develop team and cross-functional partners.
