Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant in Greenwood Village, CO to support technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury tasks. This hands-on role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and multi-entity experience, with independence in a complex environment.

Responsibilities include consolidations, intercompany accounting, audit coordination, and cash forecasting. Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Excel is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including ASC 842, ASC 606, and business combinations
• Proven experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Experience supporting external audits and maintaining internal controls documentation
• Familiarity with treasury functions including cash forecasting and debt management
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage reporting calendars, deadlines, footnote support, and audit documentation
• Prepare consolidation entries, elimination entries, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
• Identify and resolve intercompany discrepancies and maintain related schedules, policies, and templates
• Research and document complex accounting matters including leases, revenue recognition, debt, equity, and business combinations
• Prepare accounting memos and position papers supporting significant accounting judgments and elections
• Maintain internal controls documentation and support control testing activities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating requests and ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentation
• Support daily cash positioning and maintain short- and medium-term cash forecasts
• Assist with bank reporting, covenant compliance, and lender deliverable preparation
• Maintain detailed debt schedules including principal, interest, rate resets, fees, and hedging activity
