Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to support a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions in Greenwood Village, CO. This hands-on role requires a deep U.S.

GAAP background and the ability to operate independently within a multi-entity environment. You will prepare consolidated statements, manage calendars, drafts of footnotes, intercompany eliminations, and coordinate with external auditors while maintaining internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including ASC 842, ASC 606 and business combinations.
• Proven experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Experience supporting external audits and maintaining internal controls documentation.
• Familiarity with treasury functions including cash forecasting and debt management.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Role: Accounting Consultant

Location: Greenwood Village, CO (in-office)

Pay rate: $42 - $50 / hour, DOE

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to support a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and the ability to operate independently in a complex financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage reporting calendars, deadlines, footnote support, and audit documentation
• Prepare consolidation entries, elimination entries, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
• Identify and resolve intercompany discrepancies and maintain related schedules, policies, and templates
• Research and document complex accounting matters including leases, revenue recognition, debt, equity, and business combinations
• Prepare accounting memos and position papers supporting significant accounting judgments and elections
• Maintain internal controls documentation and support control testing activities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating requests and ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentation
• Support daily cash positioning and maintain short- and medium-term cash forecasts
• Assist with bank reporting, covenant compliance, and lender deliverable preparation
• Maintain detailed debt schedules including principal, interest, rate resets, fees, and hedging activity

Systems: Sage Intacct, Excel

Requirements
