Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst, Reporting & Special Projects to play an integral role in the Accounting department at our rapidly growing company.

This position will be responsible for general accounting within the operating expense accounting function, including preparing, recording, and analyzing accounting transactions to ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting transactions accurately.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger data for accuracy and prepare financial and variance analyses and reports.
• Record payroll and benefit entries; reconcile payroll accounts with payroll team.
• Maintain lease accounting records and ASC 842 compliance.
• Research complex lease accounting scenarios.
• Assist with internal controls over financial reporting and risk assessment.
• Assist with the buildout of accounting policies and procedures in GAAP.
• Create thorough process documentation for procedures performed.
• Assist with evaluating and improving accounting processes.
• Assist with audits and tax provision deliverables.
• Support month-end close meetings with insights into operating expenses.
