Job summary

Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) seeks two accountants to work in its Jacksonville, Florida office. The roles provide financial analysis support and help implement real-time online reporting across program teams, handling A/P and A/R as needed.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete estimates, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS. Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills required; U.S. citizenship and DoD contracting familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of corporate or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or see substitution note).
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight for various contract types and sizes.
• Coordinate purchasing, travel, revenue recognition, billing, and invoicing accuracy.
• Review travel and expense claims per DoD policies.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal procedures.
