Graphic Packaging International seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst to support the fixed asset lifecycle, capitalization, and related financial reporting. The role partners with manufacturing and corporate teams to ensure accurate accounting, internal controls, and process improvements.

The position offers exposure to lease accounting under ASC 842, SEC reporting support, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with pivot tables, formulas, data analysis and automation.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting, capital projects, or capitalization policy.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle (creation, transfers, retirements, capitalization).
• Monitor capital expenditure activity for accurate capitalization and reporting.
• Partner with facilities, departments, and leadership on capital projects and fixed asset accounting.
• Assist in maintenance of fixed asset accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with lease accounting processes and ASC 842 compliance.
• Prepare disclosures and schedules for SEC filings, including lease disclosures.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for training and continuity.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for SOX compliance and controls testing.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects within Corporate Accounting.
