Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a senior accounting professional to manage Capital and Fixed Asset accounting, ensuring accuracy of ledgers and financial statements. The role develops policies, oversees accounting systems, and provides expert guidance to managers on budgets and reporting.

You will lead month-end close for fixed assets, analyze variances, and drive process improvements across teams, while ensuring compliance with current laws and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Typically a minimum of 6 years of accounting/finance experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Capital and Fixed Asset accounting and month-end close processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and operations of accounting systems; prepare financial reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise to managers to help with budgets, financial reports, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate preparation of financial and operating reports and ensure compliance with regulations and deadlines.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with business partners and audit teams; drive process improvements and automation.
