Job summary

SUMMIT AVIATION, INC. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Delaware to support month-end close, audits, and ERP system testing.

The role collaborates with finance, IT, operations, and external partners to build sustainable workflows while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The successful candidate will analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, develop accounting policies, and lead process improvements across manufacturing and MRO finance functions.

Qualifications

• BA accounting required and CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/MRO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, GAAP reporting, and reconciliations.
• Assist audits and external CPA firms; ensure internal controls.
• Test and implement ERP solutions; document results and actions.
• Analyze inventory, COGS, and production costs for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
