Job summary

Tradewind Aviation seeks a Senior Accounting Manager in Middlebury, CT to lead monthly close, manage intercompany activity, inventory and fixed assets, and enhance internal controls in collaboration with the Controller and CFO.

You will prepare financial statements, perform ad hoc analyses, and coordinate with external auditors, while guiding a junior accounting team and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with some leadership.
• Experience implementing and monitoring internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, ensure GAAP-compliant statements.
• Prepare analyses, reconciliations and intercompany activity.
• Oversee inventory, fixed assets and physical counts.
• Coordinate with auditors and strengthen internal controls.
• Mentor staff and partner with Controller and FP&A.
