Qualifications

• 5+ years of school district finance experience may substitute education/certifications.
• Must obtain AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts receivable functions, staff and reporting.
• Analyze and implement best practices for accounts receivable.
• Manage district-level accounts receivable overview and aging reporting.
• Develop and test internal auditing and testing procedures for AR.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations with district records and external entities.
• Reconcile internal reports with government data.
• Monitor cash balances, transfers, and journal adjustments.
• Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts for senior management.
• Assist with year-end closing and new year opening transactions.
• Support external audits related to responsible areas.
