Amwins Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for Direct Bill in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on monitoring Accounts Receivable transactions, reconciling subledgers, applying funds, and managing unapplied cash with the Direct Bill leadership team.

You will communicate with internal and external clients, handle direct bill commission activities, and train staff while supporting ad hoc projects and developing business metrics.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

The Senior Accounting Analyst - Direct Bill supports management in the monitoring and safeguarding of company assets, achieved through maintaining of Accounts Receivable transactions, account reconciliation, applying funds received and/or the processing of UAC (unapplied cash). Effectively communicates with internal and external customers, while successfully maintaining a high level of customer service. This position reports directly to the Direct Bill Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, apply, manage a workload of incoming UAC and other Direct Bill Commission statement activities.
• Request direct bill commission invoicing as needed according to direct bill hybrid protocol
• Monitor and respond promptly to direct bill commission inquiries from clients
• Work with leadership team to manage broker inquires
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies within the accounting subledger/AR Workbooks and work with clients and AR analysts to provide resolution
• Process adjustments and write-offs within analyst authorized threshold
• Escalate aged accounts and reconciling items according to protocol
• Train and mentor staff
• Host Team Training Sessions for the entire team
• Assist with ad hoc projects and other duties assigned by the leadership team
• Assist management with identifying and developing business metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Accounting processes (Cash Application/Accounts Receivable)
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and actively manage and prioritize workload in a high-volume environment
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external clients
• Experience in Insurance Industry accounting, business processes, and terminology
