GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a large, publicly traded healthcare services organization and is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its fast-growing Health division. This role offers hands‑on exposure to month‑end close, expense analysis, budgeting support, and process improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support full‑cycle month‑end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, flux analysis)
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform operating expense analysis and budget vs. actual variance reviews
• Assist with payroll allocations, reserves, and revenue‑related entries
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations and finance leadership
• Identify and improve manual accounting processes

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong month‑end close experience
• Advanced Excel skills (comfortable with large data sets)
• Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
