Job summary

LHH is recruiting for a Senior Accounting Analyst in Phoenix to join our client's growing manufacturing finance team. This role offers mentorship, career growth, and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and strategic financial planning.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid accounting foundation, manufacturing experience, and a desire to broaden into FP&A responsibilities over time. You will work on AR, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with accounts receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll support, and general ledger activities
• Manufacturing experience, including exposure to bill of materials, inventory, or production accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities including accounts receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll support, and treasury-related functions
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes
• Perform variance analysis and identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support fixed asset accounting and other finance-related initiatives
• Assist with internal controls, audits, inventory processes, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial insights and business support
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help drive efficiencies across the finance function
