Job summary

Talent Elite Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team in the West Los Angeles area. This role involves preparing journal entries, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Vlookups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and financial records.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting reviews.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate expense coding.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Reports to

Accounting Manager

Job Requirements

• Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial records in compliance with GAAP
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting reviews. Analyze budget-to-actual and forecast variances, providing insights and recommendations to management
• Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate expense coding, payment processing, and subledger reconciliation
• Support fixed asset accounting, capitalization policy compliance, and accounting policy implementation
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies across accounting functions
• Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance testing, and other regulatory requirements
• Participate in special projects and collaborate cross-functionally to support business and accounting objectives

Job Qualifications
