Job summary

Ignited Recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking experienced accounting professionals for project-based consulting roles. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive base compensation plus incentives.

The role focuses on strategic finance and technical accounting across public and private clients, offering variety, client interaction, and the chance to work with well-known companies in a fast-paced consulting environment. Prior audit experience and CPA are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience in external audit, advisory, corporate accounting, and/or corporate finance.
• 2+ years of experience in external audit.
• CPA licensed or in process (passed at least one exam).
• Experience with publicly traded companies/clients.
• Excellent communication and adaptability in new environments.
• No external audit work - exclusive advisory cross accounting and finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through a variety of strategic finance and technical accounting projects.
• Lead initiatives such as general ledger close and process improvement, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting support.
• Technical accounting (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842, SEC reporting).
• IPO readiness and public company transformation.
• M&A preparation and integration.
• Adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and team dynamics.
