Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to support U.S. accounting operations, close processes, and internal controls within the ABS Financial Operations team. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for U.S. entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.

You will also analyze fluctuations, support government reporting, and collaborate with global teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; accounting degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, and U.S. GAAP.
• CPA licensure, candidacy, or master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting for U.S. entities following U.S. GAAP; close activities and journal entries.
• Manage U.S. government reporting; analyze and file required reports timely.
• Support lease accounting under ASC 842; maintain lease records.
• Assist fixed asset accounting and cross-functional process improvements.
• Process travel and expense postings; ensure data accuracy and documentation.
• Execute SOX controls; investigate exceptions and document support.
• Conduct monthly fluctuation analyses and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across global teams.
