Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to scale the US accounting function from our Brooklyn, NY office. You will own month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory reporting, partnering with Finance, Operations, People and external auditors.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and requires strong ownership and detail-oriented execution. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in US

Qualifications

• :
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required or equivalent; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage US accounts reporting and intercompany accounting across international entities.
• Prepare timely, accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Own intercompany journals and reconciliations between entities.
• Perform period-end close and maintain balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee vendor payments and process invoices in line with terms.
• Develop and document key accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research as needed.
