Job summary

Fooda, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance Team in Chicago. You will participate in monthly close, analyze variances, manage the general ledger, and prepare reports across reporting periods.

You will also support audits and drive process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting, strong communication skills, and experience with NetSuite and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years in accounting.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and MS Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly close including balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Analyze variances for budget and forecast developments.
• Manage general ledger accounting responsibilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.
• Support audit requests and reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements and assist with implementing changes.
• Maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
