Job summary

Fooda is hiring a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting and Finance Team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the role offers exposure to all areas of Fooda’s business and a fast-paced environment in Chicago.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a drive to streamline processes and implement new systems. Public accounting experience is a plus, and familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly close, including balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Analyze and report variances for budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports.
• Assist with audits and reconciliations.
• Support improvements to accounting processes and controls.
