Tradition Senior Living, LP is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage community transaction preparation, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports for complex senior living entities. The role reports to the Director of Operations Accounting and requires strong collaboration with operations and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and Adobe Acrobat required.
• High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance, especially proofreading.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations for assigned communities.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned communities.
• Perform monthly T12, Budget-to-Actual, and general ledger activity reviews.
• Prepare adjusting, accrual, and recurring journal entries as needed for assigned communities.
• Prepare periodic financial reports as needed.
• Prepare property-specific analytical reporting as needed.
• Provide recommendations for best-practice accounting based on community performance.
• Prepare sales tax and tax information reporting filings.
• Ensure accurate accounting for community operations.
• Record miscellaneous irregular deposits for assigned communities.
• Collaborate with on-site and off-site teams across multiple communities.
