Discovery Senior Living seeks a Senior Accountant to join our home office team in Bonita Springs, FL. The role handles daily accounting activities, prepares monthly financial statements, and supports senior management with financial analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, has GAAP knowledge, SOX understanding, and experience with Yardi. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Five years’ accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting.
• Understanding of SOX requirements.
• Yardi experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the development and utilization of financial models and analysis.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and provide supporting documentation to investors and external auditors for financial statements.
• Researches variance to budget and forecasts through detailed operational and financial metrics; explains results.
• Reviews journal entries during month and year-end processes.
• Tracks and analyzes key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
• Drives operational efficiencies and cost savings.
• Assists with external audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
